Ms. Ramsey’s interest in law started at an early age, when her grandmother mused how great it would be if one of her grandchildren were to become a lawyer. Intrigued by the prospect, and fueled by watching legal television shows, Ms. Ramsey pursued the field. She found her way to bankruptcy law to model after her favorite law school professor, who was a bankruptcy attorney. Ms. Ramsey has practiced bankruptcy and business litigation law for more than 30 years. Her success at Montgomery McCracken Walker is fueled by her hard work and the care she puts in to every client.

One of the defining moments of Ms. Ramsey’s career has been working in bankruptcy court and estimating a jury award to be $1.2 billion. Her determination was rewarded by the court awarding a total of $1.66 billion. This career highlight, along with many others, is prominent across all her practicing areas, including reorganization, corporate and securities and any matter of insolvency. She has worked various kinds of cases, including traditional Chapter 11 cases.

Ms. Ramsey is admitted to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New York. She affiliates with the American Bankruptcy Institute, American College of Bankruptcy, American Bar Foundation, Litigation Counsel of America, Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court and the Turnaround Management District. She attended Villanova University and earned a JD at the school. She is a board member of the Riddle Hospital Foundation and supports the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project.
