Following a lifelong interest in law and politics, Letitia White attended Indiana University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in history and archaeology in 1974. Shortly after graduation, she began working as a paralegal, which led to her decision to pursue a career in law. At the time, Ms. White was one of the first paralegals to work in Houston. She continued her studies at the South Texas College of Law, earning a JD in 1986. Since then, she has been listed as an AV Preeminent Attorney by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings in recognition of her high ethical standards and legal ability.

For the past 16 years, Ms. White has served as a senior attorney of the marketing and services department with Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA, Inc. In this position, she is responsible for a wide array of responsibilities, including managing transactional work, which ranges from real estate to construction contracts. She also oversees the transactions to purchase feed stock and sell products and logistics, and advises and trains the credit department. Additionally, she drafts and reviews contracts, and advises the motor oil and industrial lubricant business. Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA, Inc. is a petrochemical company that provides polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, base chemicals and transportation fuels to clients around the world.

In addition to her legal appointment, Ms. White is also involved with the Houston Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, American Association of Corporate Counsel and the Business Law Section of the Bankruptcy Subcommittee with the American Bar Association. With nearly four decades of experience under her belt, she is incredibly proud of her lengthy and successful career. Looking to the future, Ms. White intends to retire, although she would like to continue providing consulting services to those in need.
