Joining the debate society at St. Joseph’s University ultimately inspired Mr. Boyce’s successful, five-decade-long law career. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1957, he proceeded to attend Villanova University, where he earned a JD in 1964. Years later, he went back to school, and earned a master’s degree in fine arts at Goddard College in 1994. In the beginning of his career, Mr. Boyce started with a firm that dealt with criminal defense, but in 1974, he opened his own practice, which works with wills and estates, and personal injury and negligence cases. With the firm, he handles cases, works with clients, and provides wills and estates assistance. Mr. Boyce truly enjoys making a connection with his clients, which he believes to be the primary reason for his success.

Some of the highlights of his career include his appearance before the State Supreme Court, and his appearance at the appellate division, where one of the judges declared that he would be “one of the great ones.” Mr. Boyce celebrated his 25-year anniversary as an AV Preeminent Attorney in 2015, and he is also honored as a Top-Rated Lawyer in Family Law, according to Martindale-Hubbell. He is affiliated with the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Gloucester County Bar Association.

Mr. Boyce is also a playwright; one of his plays was performed at Rowan University, and another at a small theater in Philadelphia. He is originally from Ireland, and is fluent in Irish Gaelic. In five years, Mr. Boyce intends to be doing more of the same in terms of his law career, as well as continuing to write.
