Mr. Thomas didn’t always intend to practice law; his initial plan was to teach poetry workshops in community college. In service of this dream, he earned a Master of Fine Arts in poetry. His decision to enter the legal arena was born of his desire to pursue a career in a more lucrative industry, and the fact that being a lawyer would allow him to utilize his knowledge to help people with various legal matters. Mr. Thomas went on to earn a JD from the University of Southern California, and has now been in the profession for 30 years. He is currently affiliated with the California Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Association.

In his current position, Mr. Thomas oversees daily operations for Thomas Business Law Group, PC, which has offices in California and Illinois, and affiliations and alliances throughout the United States and Asia. The firm’s clients are mostly small to medium-sized companies or individuals. As the president of the firm, Mr. Thomas is also responsible for providing the highest quality of legal and business consultative services to his clients, and ensuring effective advice on company strategies and their implementation. He attributes his ongoing success to hard work, creative problem-solving and passion.
