He began his career in the finance sector as a loan officer at bank in southern California, where he handled construction loans for the real estate developers group. Feeling that law would be a more challenging field, Mr. Rodriguez decided to return to school to obtain a JD from Santa Clara University. He also holds a Master of Laws in taxation from Golden Gate University.

Mr. Rodriguez has shared his experience and expertise by teaching an advanced accounting class at a local community college for the past 20 years. He has also done estate planning presentations and seminars, as well as free programs at his local church. Mr. Rodriguez retains affiliations with the Santa Clara County Bar Association and The State of California Bar. In light of his accomplishments, he was named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell in 2014.
