Ron C. McCallum initially desired to be a pilot, but also found himself interested in law. He decided to merge his two passions and joined an aviation firm after receiving a law degree. Mr. McCallum found working as a pilot and a trial attorney to be a rewarding, fun blend of careers. He enjoys flying, helping people, trying cases and working two full-time jobs. Mr. McCallum has been practicing law for 12 years. Throughout his career, he has tried numerous personal injury cases to verdict, including Ashley Reedy and Janie Reeves v. Greyhound Lines, Inc. and Rashad Armand Nichols, a case in which a Greyhound bus lost control on an icy road, resulting in injury. The jury awarded more than $18 million after determining that the bus driver was at fault for the accident. Mr. McCallum is an AV Preeminent Attorney who is recognized for putting his clients first. He works with clients on cases involving personal injury, aviation law, trucking injury and aviation injury. In addition to his duties as a leading trial lawyer, he serves as chief pilot and director of firm aviation at Ted Lyon & Associates. Mr. McCallum believes he has been able to excel in his professional endeavors because he always does a thorough and proper investigation, and is dedicated to achieving justice.
