She also supports the Stowe Education Fund. Moreover, Ms. Nichols does pro bono work for the probate court.

Ms. Nichols received her JD from Boston College Law School after earning a Bachelors in Political Science, History, and Anthropology from the University of Vermont. She also belongs to the Vermont Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Upon reflecting on a rewarding career, Ms. Nichols marks her greatest career achievement is being involved in community organizations for a long time. She is very diverse in her interests and working together with others. She has been with in the Performing Arts sector for 15 years. Working with community, she has been Involved in Local Land Trust. She sat on the local hospital board of trustees for three years, dealing with the uproar in the health care industry.
