She now serves clients at her own firm, Whitham Law. Ms. Whitham provides her services to the areas of labor and employment law, and data theft. Employers rely on her for representation in federal and state courts, as well as administrative forums and ADR proceedings.
Ms. Whitham’s interest in law stems from growing up in an academic family. It was assumed that she would also become a professor, and she did for a time as a faculty member at Cornell University from 1976 to 1988. It was during this time that Ms. Whitham realized the field of law was calling her and would enable her to take part in changing the world and making a difference. Her educational track reflects this course, as she first earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell, and then a Master of Arts in teaching and education from the university. She also received a Master of Science in human development from Cornell, as well as a JD in 1988.
